e-Learning is a training tool,
but it also involves software, the Internet and other technologies. Instead
of just lecturing and talking about it, the workshops are hands-on and
allow participants to apply ideas to their projects. We provide you the
principles, ideas, examples and guidance and present you the opportunity
to EXPERIENCE developing content and design into an actual e-learning
format. We are able to share with you the wealth of e-learning “best
practices” and “best designs” because at the workshop
your PCs are connected to the Internet.
The project-based workshops
have three components:
Advance online
learning - three hours, done two weeks before the workshop.
Each participant will have access to online resources and lessons. They
will be required to submit plans and ideas for their projects. Participants
will have the chance to interact with the facilitator and co-participants.
Classroom
workshop – from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm with an hour for

Participants
will be provided PCs with Internet connection. The session allows the
participants to work on their projects and study online and live e-learning
examples,
demos, and references. The workshops are hands-on with software exercises.
However,
the exercises are structured to make it easy for participants to apply
concepts.
Post workshop
references – participants will continue to have access
to the
online references up to twelve months after the workshops. The online
references provide
hundreds of examples, demos, illustrations, and guides. Participants are
also able to network with co-participants and ask for assistance from
the facilitator on their project implementations.
